Apple to lead in 5nm chips in 2021,while samsung only reaches third in position.

  Apple is reportedly going to lead the market in terms of 5nm chips in this year, while its competitor Samsung will only reach the third position. The former will account for nearly half of all 5nm chips in the market in 2021. According to a  Counterpoint Research  report (Via  9to5Mac ), Apple will be the leader in terms of 5nm chip in the current year. Furthermore, it is also one of the major reasons why Qualcomm will arrive second in the market for the same. Although, the chipmaker would only account for a quarter of the total 5nm chip shipments. The report also adds that 2020 was a good year for chipmakers, with 2021 likely being the same as well. Meanwhile, the South Korean tech giant is said to be 6 to 9 months behind TSMC, Apple’s primary chip supplier. As per the report, 7nm and 5nm chips saw a surge in demand, especially with the growth of the 5G enabled smartphone market, new gaming console launch, and AI/GPU in cloud servers....

  Apple is set to finally unveil the Wristcam, a strap equipped with front- and rear-facing cameras to be used for Apple watches. The launch is coming after about four years when a crowdfunding campaign was initiated for its development. The Wristcam comes with an 8-megapixel camera that can shoot 1080p video and take still photos in 4K resolution and a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies. The device can also function as a video walkie-talkie with real-time live-streaming capabilities. Of course, both cameras are nowhere close to the powerful cameras in the iPhone. Some visuals shot by the Wristcam, displayed by the company are quite decent. The display of Wristcam is the Watch screen although the camera has a separate battery, which can last up to 24 hours. You can take images and video by pressing its multifunctional button, and this is synced to your iPhone automatically when you drop it on its magnetically attached charging cable. APPLE VR HEADSET with fluid filled lenses....

While there have been multiple rumors regarding an Apple AR/VR headset and its features, a recent report states that it might sport fluid filled lenses that will allow it to also work for users with bad eyesight. According to an  AppleInsider  report, the Cupertino based giant’s augmented reality/virtual reality headset might feature fluids that can deform to the shape of lens to help improve the eyesight of the user. In either an AR or VR headset, the integral aspect is the ability to see the virtual content. However, since a headset will generally have the display at a close proximity of the users’ eye, which might cause discomfort overtime. Generally, a VR headset uses optical lenses positioned between the eyes and the screen, so being able to adjust the perceived focal distance for the user might make it more comfortable to use. At the moment, the technology used generally would have the lenses shift distances from the user to change the perceived focal length. F...
